Investment Qualifications:
 
   GoldTrust has been established to provide a convenient low-cost method for investing in pure, refined gold bullion in international banker bar form.
   
  
GoldTrust intends that its Units will be qualified investments for trusts governed by registered retirement savings plans, registered retirement income funds, deferred profit sharing plans and registered education savings plans as well as under the following statutes:

Loan and Trust Corporations Act (Alberta);

Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund Act (Alberta);
Pension Benefits Standards Act (British Columbia);
Financial Institutions Act (British Columbia);
The Insurance Act (Manitoba);
The Trustee Act (Manitoba);
The Pension Benefits Act (Manitoba);
 Pension Benefits Act (Nova Scotia);
Trustee Act (Nova Scotia);
Pension Benefits Act (Ontario);
The Trustee Act (Ontario);
Loan and Trust Corporations Act (Ontario);
An Act respecting insurance  (Quebec);
An Act respecting trust companies and
savings companies (Quebec);
Supplemental Pension Plans Act (Quebec);
